General Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Agreement to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale by the customer

All orders placed on the Champagnes Ataïr website are subject to the following general terms and conditions of sale. These general terms and conditions are available for viewing by the customer at the bottom of each page of the website, and must be fully known and agreed to by the customer prior to any payment being made. In exchange for the customer’s agreement, the Champagnes Ataïr website agrees to respect all its commitments regarding these present terms and conditions.

Article 2: Sale of alcohol

Champagnes Ataïr respects article L. 3342-1 of the Public Health Code, forbidding the sale of alcohol to minors under the age of eighteen (18) on its website. Customers purchasing products from Champagnes Ataïr state that they are eighteen years of age or over.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, please consume in moderation.
The consumption of alcoholic drinks during pregnancy, even in small quantities, may have serious consequences for the health of the child.

Article 3: Prices

Unless otherwise specified, Champagnes Ataïr displays their prices in Euros, inclusive of all taxes (including VAT at 20%), but excluding shipping costs.
The price indicated in the order confirmation by Champagnes Ataïr is the definitive price, expressed inclusive of all taxes. This price includes the price of the products, handling charges, packaging and shipping.
Champagnes Ataïr reserves the right to change the price of products at any time. The price indicated on the confirmed order remains definitive.

Article 4: Legal Guarantees

In accordance with article 1641 of the Civil Code, Champagnes Ataïr guarantees its products against any hidden defects that make them unsuitable for the purpose for which they were intended, or which diminish this usage to such an extent that the purchaser would not have purchased the product, or would have paid a lower price, had he or she been aware.
Having purchased from the Champagnes Ataïr website, customers have a period of 3 months after delivery in which to report any hidden defects, by email or by post.
After the allegedly defective product has been returned, it is examined. If it does indeed prove to have a hidden defect, the origin of which preceded its dispatch to the customer, Champagnes Ataïr will provide a full refund for the defective product or products.
Champagnes Ataïr will only consider products that are unconsumed or unopened.

Article 5: Ordering

In the event of the customer providing inaccurate information at the time of ordering (address, name etc.), Champagnes Ataïr will not be held responsible if the delivery cannot be made.
Please also note that our products are offered subject to availability.

Article 6: Payment for orders

Champagnes Ataïr provides customers with a secure bank card payment system on its website, using the CIC bank’s Monetico Payment solution.
Payment is made at the time of ordering.

Article 7: Cancellation of the order

Orders must be cancelled prior to dispatch of the order to the customer. Requests for cancellation of orders should be addressed to Champagnes Ataïr customer services by email.
Cancellation of orders after dispatch to the customer is possible, but the return will be at the expense of the customer.

Article 8: Delivery

Unless otherwise specified, shipping costs are at the expense of the customer.
Champagnes Ataïr delivers to Mainland France For deliveries outside Mainland France, a specific quote is required.
Products will be dispatched to the customer after payment and confirmation by Champagnes Ataïr.
Orders are normally processed between 24 and 72 hours after payment, and the deliveries take place between 1 and 5 days.
In the event of erroneous information being provided by the customer, making delivery by Champagnes Ataïr impossible, the product will be returned to us and may be reshipped to the customer at the customer’s expense.
If the customer is absent, he or she will have a certain period in which to collect the parcel from a location decided by the carrier. If the parcel is not collected by the customer during this period, the parcel will automatically be returned to us and may be reshipped to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Free shipping offered by Champagnes Ataïr on an order does not exclude any possible shipping costs incurred in the event of reshipping of the order.
In the event of a problem with the parcel (open parcel, damage etc.) at the time of delivery, the customer must refuse delivery and specify the problems on the delivery note. The Champagnes Ataïr website will get in contact with the customer in order to resolve the situation.

Article 9: In the event of disputes

The photos and presentations of products present on the Champagnes Ataïr website are not contractual and are for information purposes only.
In the event of a dispute, customers are invited to contact Champagnes Ataïr customer services to seek an amicable agreement. Complaints will be dealt with carefully by the Champagnes Ataïr team.
If an amicable agreement cannot be reached, disputes regarding orders or the interpretation of the general terms and conditions of sale will be settled by the commercial courts.

Article 10: Right of withdrawal

Sales from the Champagnes Ataïr website are distance sales, and the customer therefore has a 14-day right of withdrawal period from the time of delivery. You can return your products to the following address: Lieu dit Le Village 51170 Brouillet
You will receive a full refund via credit transfer or by your preferred refund solution.
Return costs are entirely at the expense of the customer.
